What is a CB certificate or CB system or CB scheme?
The CB Scheme will enable you to get closer to the “one product, one test, one global mark” ideal many international manufacturers seek for. The IEC CB Scheme is multilateral agreement to allow international certification of electrical and electronic products so that a single certification allows worldwide market access.
What does CB report stand for?
A CB report is a standardized report that lists the requirements of relevant IEC standards in an itemized form. The report shall provide the results of all tests, measurements, validation, inspection and evaluation required, which shall be clear and unambiguous. The report also includes photos, circuit diagrams, pictures, and product descriptions. According to the rules of the CB system, the CB test certificate is valid only when provided with the CB test report.
